Paul: We stayed on the 14th floor and enjoyed breathtaking views down Mason Street towards the Wharf, with sights of the Bay and Angel Island. Situated on historic Nob Hill, it’s a simple walk to Chinatown, Grace Cathedral, and the cable cars. The bar, Top of the Mark, was delightful for an evening drink while watching the sunset over the Golden Gate. The staff, from front desk to housekeeping, and especially the valets, were courteous and efficient. A thoroughly pleasant experience.
Martha: The hotel's entrance is elegant and comfortable, perfect for our family gatherings before heading out. Our rooms were cozy, clean, and offered lovely views. The location was ideal for sightseeing and the staff were always extremely helpful and cheerful. Our nightly visits to the top floor for a drink and scenery were very enjoyable.
Robin: The staff was excellent, and the views and location were superb. Valet parking was hassle-free. Unfortunately, the food and drinks at Top of the Mark were just okay. Proximity to Union Square, cable cars, Grace Cathedral, fine dining, and shopping was a major advantage.
Chantalle: The king corner room offered two fantastic views and was comfortably spacious.
Francis: Exemplary customer service with a classic touch. The staff were always ready to assist!
John: The location was superb. The staff was both friendly and helpful.
Mary: Stunning property with outstanding staff. They promptly assisted with our bags and provided excellent service at the Top of the Mark.
Frank: Spacious rooms with an incredible view of the Golden Gate Bridge. The Nob Hill Cafe’s food was delicious, particularly the bread with dips which featured whole garlic cloves baked in - a charming touch.
Jen: Fantastic location with a beautiful and walkable neighborhood.
Hillary: Hosted my daughter's 13th birthday sleepover at the hotel in a huge suite, with my room nearby. The holiday decorations were stunning. Had a delightful dinner at the lobby restaurant. The Mark Hopkins never fails with its historical charm and beautiful rooms.
